Details
Black Fused Alumina has good features as high hardness, strong tenacity, better bonding ability and hydrophilicity, giving less heat, good self-sharpening, smooth surface and high finish. It's suitable for polishing various spare parts such as: Bicycles, sewing-machine, hard metal tools, medical apparatus, timepieces, glass products and stone grinding. It's also the right material for making abrasive tools: Fiber-reinforced cutting wheels, grinding wheels, sand cloth, paper and paste.

Property
Choosing selected bauxite and iron oxide as raw material be smelted in tilting electrical arc furnace
Strong cutting force
Moderate hardness but good toughness and self-sharpening
Good abrasion resistance
Less heat value and efficient productivity
High temperature resistance

Applications

1. Blasting corundum - the abrasive blasting with moderate hardness, high bulk density, no free silica, heavy, good toughness, corundum is the ideal "green" blasting material, widely used in aluminum, the copper profile glass, washed jeans precision mold areas;

2. Free grinding - grinding grade abrasives, used in cathode-ray tube, optical glass, silicon, lenses, clocks, glass, crystal glass, jade and other areas of free grinding, abrasive materials is widely used in domestic;

3. Resin Abrasives - Abrasive have the right color, hardness, toughness, suitable particle cross-section type and edge retention, used in resin abrasive, the results are satisfactory;

4. Coated abrasives - abrasive sandpaper, gauze and other manufacturers of raw materials;
